Fiberglass Cloth High-Temperature Tape

Short Description:
Good Electrical Insulation

**Product Description**

Fiberglass high temperature tape, also known as glass cloth tape or high-temperature glass fabric tape, is manufactured using high-strength E-glass fiberglass cloth as the backing material, coated with high-performance high-temperature resistant pressure-sensitive adhesive (typically silicone or acrylic).

Fiberglass cloth inherently offers excellent high-temperature resistance, high tensile strength, and dimensional stability. After adhesive coating, the tape combines the mechanical properties of glass cloth with the convenience of pressure-sensitive adhesion, making it widely used in electronics, aerospace, automotive manufacturing, high-temperature masking, coil winding, and related applications.

**Key Advantages**

**1. Excellent High Temperature Resistance – Up to 260℃ Continuous**

Fiberglass cloth tape provides continuous operation at 200℃-260℃. Silicone adhesive glass cloth tape can withstand up to 260℃, with intermittent resistance up to 550℃. Ideal for coil winding and high-temperature masking applications.

**2. Clean Removal – No Residue**

The silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive system removes cleanly without residue even after high-temperature exposure. This is the core value of glass cloth tape for high-temperature masking and temporary protection applications.

**3. Ultra-High Tensile Strength – Ideal for Bundling & Fixing**

Fiberglass cloth backing provides exceptional tensile strength, exceeding 400N/cm. Ideal for demanding bundling, fixing, and wire harnessing applications.

**4. Flame Retardant – Safety Certified**

Certified to F.A.R. 25.853 flammability standards, meeting aerospace flame retardant requirements. Non-propagating and self-extinguishing for safe use inside electrical equipment.

**5. Good Die-cutting Performance**

Good flexibility makes fiberglass cloth tape suitable for precision die-cutting. Custom shapes available for specialized electronic component protection.

**6. Electrical Insulation – H-Class Rated**

Meets H-class insulation material standards with excellent voltage resistance. Suitable for insulation wrapping of transformers, motors, and coils.

**7. PTFE Impregnation Option – Non-Stick Release**

PTFE-impregnated glass cloth tape offers extremely low coefficient of friction and excellent non-stick properties, ideal for high-temperature heat sealing and release applications.
